SYMPTOMS OF BONE PROBLEMS

Patients may have bone problems but not have any symptoms. However, the following are certain symptoms that may be experienced:
- Bone pain
- Pain or stiffness in the neck or back
- Numbness and weakness from spinal cord compression
A bone imaging scan is a common test for prostate cancer patients to help identify bone issues. Other tests that identify bone problems are:
- X-ray
- Computed tomography (CT) scan
- Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan
- Bone density test
